A number of civilians were hurt while local people in eastern neighborhoods were left without electricity and dealt with disruption to drinking water, per reports from local authorities.

Officials stated that 450 drones and more than 30 missiles targeted Ukraine's energy infrastructure, labeling such attacks as "strategic and deliberate" and against "essential services" as the weather cools.

Government representatives said Moscow was "launching a major assault" and maintenance teams were working to restore power.
